I was raised on the South Side of Chicago and graduated from James H. Bowen High School. I attended the University of Illinois-Urbana and graduated, majoring in Finance, with minors in history and political science. I worked in the insurance industry both as an adjuster and as an account executive while attending Loyola University School of Law in Chicago, and received my Juris Doctor in 1978. I have practiced law in Cook and Dupage Counties since 1978 and established my own sole practice in 1983. I am married to Susan and have 3 children.
AWARDS
I am proud to be an active participant in accepting pro-bono cases referred by Chicago Volunteer Legal Services(CVLS) and by Pro-bono Advocates. In 1998 and 2001, I was awarded the coveted Distinguished Service Award by CVLS acknowledging the many years of pro-bono service I have given to the community.
